Using Your Own
When taking an image to make into a wall covering we would recommend using at least a 12 megapixel Digital SLR camera at as high a resolution as you can. Typically we would suggest the resolution is at least 5000 x 8000 pixels to cover a wall 2.4m high by 3m wide. Simply, by increasing the resolution in photo editing software, like photoshop, doesn't increase the quality of the output file.
It is far better to take the original image with a camera that has greater megapixels.
Unfortunately, if you use a device such as a smartphone or iPad / Tablet, they make unintentional changes to the images because of the inner workings of the camera.
